Understanding the Program Search screen

 

There are 2 types of searches you can use to find the program you wish to register for: ‘Program or Location’ and ‘Class Number’.

 

‘Program or Location’ Search

  1. Select the ‘Program or Location’ option on the Program Search screen

 

  1. Choose your search criteria.

Category - describes the program type.

Example: Aquatics, Lifesaving, Microsoft, Art, Dance.

               Note: You will find most swim lessons under Red Cross Programs

Program – provides the breakdown for a category.  

Example: Aquatots, Bronze Star, Microsoft Word, Jazz Dance

Level - provides the breakdown for a program into segments based on experience or age.  Example:  Level 1, Beginners.

Location/Facility – identifies the City facility where the Program is held.

Class start date between – identifies the date on which the class starts.

 

 

  1. Once you have selected all the search criteria you want to fill in click “Search for Class”

 

 

  1. Examining results

 

If matches are found, you will see a list of programs that meet your search criteria. To view more information on a particular program, select the underlined word in the Program column.

 

In some cases you will notice multiple numbers on the bottom line of the grid. This means that multiple pages of matches where found. Simply click on the page number you wish to view.

 

 

If no matches are found, you will need to change your search criteria and try again.

 

‘Class Number’ Search

  1. Select the ‘Class Number’ option on the Program Search screen

 

  1. Enter a class number and click ‘Search for Class’

 

  1. Examining Results

 

If a match is found, you will be redirected to a program information screen where you can find out all you need to know about the class.

 

If no match is found, please try a different class number.

 

 

How do I register for a program?

 

Once you have completed a program search you will be redirected to the program information screen. On this screen you will notice two buttons one will say ‘Back’ and the other will say ‘Register’. The ‘Back’ button will redirect you back to the program search screen. The ‘Register’ button will redirect you to a screen which allows you to select the family members you wish to register for the course. (NOTE: you must have a eReg username and password to register for a class.)

 

 

If you clicked the ‘Register’ button on the Program Information screen you will be brought to the Family Member Selection page. Check off the family members you wish to register for the selected class. (The class name is set in bold for easy reference) Once you have chosen the appropriate family members click the ‘Continue’ button to continue with the registration process.

 

The next step in the registration process is the shopping cart.

 

Once you have completed the online payment you will be brought to the ‘Program Confirmation’ page.

NOTE: Print a copy of the confirmation to bring with you on the first day of the lesson.

To view the items in your shopping cart, click the ‘ShoppingCart’ option on the eReg menu.

How do I perform a credit card payment?

 

After selecting the ‘Check Out’ option on the shopping cart page you will be brought to the ‘Online Payment’ screen. After filling in the required information click the ‘Submit’ button to process the payment.

 

 

Once your payment is accepted, you will then be redirected to the ‘Credit Card’ receipt page.

How do I view my account information?

 

To view your account information, click the ‘Your Account’ option on the eReg menu.

How do I withdraw from a program?

 

You can withdraw from a program with the assistance of our Customer Service Receptionists by phoning 403.502.8566 or 403.529.8320, or by withdrawing in person at the Family Leisure Centre or Crestwood Recreation Centre during regular hours of operation.

 

NOTE: Refunds for withdrawal of a program will be accepted up to 48 hours prior to the commencement of the class.  An administration fee of $10.00 will be applied.

 

How do I transfer to a different program?

 

You can transfer to a different program with the assistance of our Customer Service Receptionists by phoning 403.502.8566 or 403.529.8320, or by transferring in person at the Family Leisure Centre or Crestwood Recreation Centre during regular hours of operation.
